This section helps students and parents decide whether tuition is worth it, and which kind. The guides compare options fairly, and some conclude that self-study or group classes are the better choice for certain situations.
What do the guides cover?
- Self-study, group classes and one-to-one lessons compared by what each does well
- When the same mistake keeps returning and an outside view may help
- How online lessons compare with classroom lessons for IGCSE
- What to ask about a teacher, a schedule and a trial
- How to judge a trial lesson afterwards, using the post-trial reflection guide
How do you make the decision?
- Begin with what you want to change. A specific weak topic, a timetable problem and general confidence lead to different choices.
- Read the comparison guide that matches it.
- Write down the questions you want answered. The guides give lists you can copy.
- Try the option that fits for a short period, then review honestly.
What are the trade-offs?
Self-study costs nothing and builds independence, but it is hard to spot your own misunderstandings. Group classes share cost and provide a pace, but the pace belongs to the group. One-to-one lessons follow your working and respond to it, but they cost more per hour and depend on your doing the follow-up.
How does our service fit?
We offer online one-to-one Cambridge IGCSE tuition with a teacher assigned to you. You send a WhatsApp enquiry, we assign a teacher, and you confirm the teacher’s rate before a paid one-hour trial.
The rate starts from RM80 and stays the same for later lessons. The actual terms are set out in full.
