Feedback is only useful when it becomes a change on the page. This lesson turns a general comment into a short action list, then into a redrafted paragraph you can check.

How do you turn a comment into a task?
Use four moves:
- Copy the comment exactly, with the sentence it points to.
- Name the type: content, language or characters.
- Write the action as a verb plus a target. “Add one example after sentence 2” is an action. “Be more specific” is not.
- Redraft only that part, then compare old and new.
Worked example
Invented draft, with an invented teacher comment.
我喜欢周末。周末我可以做很多事情。我觉得很开心。
Comment: 内容太笼统，要再具体一点。 (nèiróng tài lǒngtǒng)
Step 1, copy and locate. The comment points to 做很多事情, which tells the reader nothing.
Step 2, name the type. Content.
Step 3, write the action. Replace 很多事情 with two named activities, and add one detail about when or where.
Step 4, redraft.
我喜欢周末。星期六早上我跟爸爸去公园跑步，下午在家练习钢琴。跑完步后，我觉得全身轻松，心情特别好。
Step 5, check against the comment. Activities are named (跑步, 练习钢琴). Time and place appear (星期六早上, 公园). The feeling now has a cause (跑完步后).
The redraft is longer, but each added word does a job.
The mistake to watch for
A common response is to change words and leave the problem in place.
Mistaken redraft: 我喜欢周末。周末我可以做许多事情。我感到非常高兴。
Only synonyms changed. 许多事情 is as vague as 很多事情.
The test is whether the reader’s question is answered. The comment asked “what exactly?”, so a new answer must appear. Swapping 很多 for 许多 does not supply one.

1. Comment: “句子太短，意思不连贯.” Original: 我去超市。我买东西。我回家。Write an action and a redraft.

Action: join the sentences with linking words and say what was bought. Redraft: 我去超市买了面包和牛奶，买完以后就回家了。
2. Comment: “结尾太突然.” Original ends: 所以我很喜欢旅行。 What action fits?

Add one closing sentence that looks forward or sums up, for example 所以我打算明年再去一次，认识更多的朋友。
3. Why is “write better next time” not a usable action?

It has no target. A usable action names what to add, remove or reorder, and where.
